THE SACRIFICE OF SUCCESS
It is sad to inform you that the first person that attempted to discover the airplanes was Dr. Samuel Lanley and not Orville and Wilbur Wright. He suspended his ambition and lost this vision due to unfaithfulness in pursuing his vision. He lost this due to the fact that he gave into obstacles, criticism and financial setbacks.
Unluckily for him, his dream and ambition was overtaken by Orville and Willbur Wright who faithfully pursued this course despite all odds and finally discovered the airplanes. I tell you dear, at every end point where you throw in the towel; there is always some one that will take over. God will not allow his plan for the world to die because of your unfaithfulness in pursing it. Consider the words of Thomas Edison, “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.”
Why should you allow someone else to take over when you have all it takes to succeed in that ministry. Decide today to be faithful in your calling until the fruit comes.
COUNSELING AIDS
1. Outline the areas of your ministry (exercise of your spiritual gifts) in which you are not faithful.
Note: There is need to do this now because there are areas we exhibit unfaithfulness ignorantly. So a conscious effort of thinking, remembering and writing it on paper will alert you and help you receive grace to be faithful in those areas.
2. Outline the areas of your ministry where you are effective and faithful and state the effect of your faithfulness.

WHAT EXACTLY IS GOD'S PLAN FOR YOU THIS YEAR?
As I have already stated in my previous post that this is a year of ABUNDANCE for you ;As such you should be in expectancy to plunge into abundance.The reason this Rhema is coming to you is to beef -up your expectation i.e. Be specific in your expectation so as to discern when it comes.
God's Concept Of Abundance For You
This Abundance can be juxtapose to His supply of a quantity that is more than enough.It may also be regarded as supply in a very large quantity.How do you feel now to know that this is a year of "MORE THAN ENOUGH " (in terms of money,properties,spiritualgifts,impact).The exact picture is in the book of JOB 22:24,25 "Then shalt thou lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.Yea, the Almighty shall be thy defence, and thou shalt have plenty of silver." The term 'plenty' is abundance while the terms -GOLD,SILVER represents money ,since that was the medium of exchange in their era.
This is a year not only to receive supernatural supply ,but to receive supply beyond measure.this exactly God's plan for you after 2007-THE SEVENTH YEAR which marked His year of completion and fullness.

A WELCOME NOTE TO 2008
After a short break ,it is a pleasure to welcome you to this new year -a season to unravell God's love,power and mercy.This year we have aRhema for you to set springs to your steps and cause you to run this Christian race successfully.
In the Spiritual Climate ,there,there is ashift God is effecting His Church around the world. It is a shift to ABUNDANCE.God is positioning the Church(of which you are a part) this year for ABUNDANCE.As long as you are apart of the CHurch,this latest move of God cannot elude you.
Within the next couple of weeks ,we will be considering in detail what this move is all about,how He is positioning us and our role to makjing it happenin your life.Remember, God is not all out to make you see ABUNDANCE ,but is all out to make you exerience it.

CASE STUDY 2
Mr. Collins in the evening decided to appraise the day after a hard and hectic schedule and discovered that for every one hour, five minutes on the average two and three hopeless, confused, discouraged and frustrated person had met him and demanded for assistance. He wished he could help them, thus overlooked his observation for that day and slept.
The following day when such stock of event was taken, he recorded even more persons. This time, he affirmed and believed they should be a reason for this, he called his friend and asked if he had such experience. He responded “No”. This young man was disturbed and as such went to prayer that night and received a confirmation of the gift of word of knowledge that is in operation in him. He also received a confirmation of the gift of prophecy in him.
Anytime you see such people coming, you should know that they need the operation of gifts that are directly involves encouragement (function of the gift of prophecy) and word of knowledge (insight of their problems).

DISCOVER WHAT YOU HAVE
Throughout the myriads of counselling I have been opportuned to make with young folks, I have discovered that 65% of them who prayed and sought God’s face to discover and understand their potentials, purpose and mandate had done that in futility, while 25% of them only discover their potentials, yet not understood their purpose and mandate while 7% discover their potentials, understood their purpose, but are yet to locate their mandate.
You may be surprise now about my statistics, but I tell you it is realistic. The path of the discovery and understanding is not only attained by prayers, but also by careful observation. You don’t need to only pray and fast to discover; you need a critical observation and an analytical mind frame to decipher what your spirit is enabled to see by the Holy Spirit. When you pray, you make your spirit sensitive to be induced by the Holy Spirit and willing to see what he sees. It is this careful observation and understanding that makes this discovery possible.
CASE STUDY 1
A young student complained of having too many sick folk around him. He also complained of having such people soliciting for his assistance. He made this complaint because he only saw this scene but never understood its significance. From my studies, this environment is a good indication that there is the gift of healing in this young man. God will never create an environment that has no direct relationship with your gifts. Even these sick folk may not even know why they cluster around you. This shows that this environment is not of luck, fate, but a divine arrangement by God to display your spiritual gift.
To a person experiencing this seen I counsel him to get into prayer after this close observation and it will not take long for him to get confirmation from God concerning the gifts of healing in him.

NEVER LOOK AROUND ,YOU HAVE SOMETHING
A young musician, was called upon on a certain day to entertain the audience in a wedding ceremony attended by a cream of elite in the society; As he marched into the podium, there was great mustering of applause for him. As he reached the podium, he bowed, introduced his song and his music began. One minute later, two strings of his Guitar cut-off and the music became unbalanced. The enthusiastic and happy atmosphere became gloomy, while the other members of this team became confused and frustrated as they faced this major disappointment. The young musician who led the team closed his eyes, meditated and received inspiration to recomposed the song to fit the remaining strings of the Guitar. He did this, recuperated and started a new song while the other members of the team later learned and sang together.
This was a great surprise to the seemingly frustrated audience. Some asked one another “where was this second song?” To others, they were more fascinated by the later. The gloomy mode was thrown into life again as every body rose to cheer the young and dynamic artist who refused to look around even at this moment, but settled with a strong believe that he still has something left to offer, not matter the circumstance. This happened, because he believed in himself. This happened because his believe brought determination, and his determination brought him victory. You can’t imagine the level your ability can take you only if you believe in it. You can’t fathom the number of disappointment you can turn around only if you stop looking around, think and believe in yourself. Decide now to develop a strong believe in the ability God has given to you and you will discover, maximize and plunge into relevance.

2. Outline five spiritual gift you think you can never exercise and give reasons for your answer.

SUCCESSFUL IMPACT BEGINS WITH GOD
An old Professor of Theology one day evaluated his activities in the past decades both in his church and in the school and discovered that 99% of his students did not follow/ live by his teaching, even though they passed his exams. He asked himself why this should result, but received no answer.
According to him “I thought what I needed to be effective and a successful teacher was to acquire my Theological degrees, memorize the Bible and relate it with people’s view; what then do I need?” He was deeply troubled and desperately anxious to get an answer for this question. So one day still in this mode of desperation slept and had a revelation. He saw a strange being appear to him and told him “Mark, you know letters of the Bible and have introduced same to your students; you know the commentaries and have introduced it to your students; you know the degrees of Theology and have introduce same to your students; but what you don’t know is the spirit of the word”.
He asked for the meaning of these and the strange person told “I am the spirit of the word. I am the author of the Bible; until you know me, your life and that of your students will not go beyond the letters.” Then did this man remember and understood “the letters killeth, but the spirit gives life.” and realized that he needs to be begin with God and not degrees, He needs to begin with God and not giving offering and tithe or going to church.
Many like this old Professor have wondered away from beginning with God.
